Knowledge, Attitude and Prevention Practice of COVID-19 in South-West Nigeria

Introduction: To assess knowledge, attitude and prevention practice of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Southwest, Nigeria. This was an online cross-sectional study among dwellers southwest Nigeria.
 Methods: Data were collected with kobo toolbox analyzed using the Statistical package for social sciences (SPSS, 2018) descriptive statistics, test independence binary logistic regression presented.
 Results: Of 286 participants, 96.1% had good 99.3% positive towards control COVID-19, while 77.3% practices virus. Majority participants (86.9%) tertiary education, 11.3% 40 years or older. Age education independently associated COVID-19 practice. After adjustment some selected socio-demographic factors, only age 10 – 19 (OR: 3.83, CI: 1.05, 14), 20-29 2.99, 1.18 -7.55), 30 -39 4.35, 1.49-12.67) more likely to have compared >=40 years.
 Conclusion: The result revealed a high prevalence practices, majority knowledge COVID-19. identified be prevention. Further exploration that elders (>=40years) not We deduced Nigeria but notably low those who attained below However, people older poor should given much attention proper enlightening strategies this pandemic.
